| SYNOPSIS A minor criminal is despatched by his terrifying boss to pick up a mystery item from a mystery contact. Armed with nothing more than a hotel name, a room number and a suitcase full of money he arrives at the hotel, determined to prove that he is worthy of the trust placed in him, despite all previous evidence indicating the contrary. Knowing this is his final chance; he feels a mixture of relief and shame that he has been given such a simple task. Finding the room unlocked, he enters, and is greatly disturbed to find his contact in an extreme state of suicidal determination. After several frustrating attempts to calm Mr Jones and attend to the matter in hand, he finds himself locked out of the room with Mr Jones about to throw himself out of the window. He runs outside and sees that Mr Jones is nowhere in sight, realises he has been duped returns to find the room empty and the suitcase gone. There is, however, a safe deposit box key on the table |
